With over 10 years experience working in the financial services industry, I bring a unique mix of experience in actuarial and creative fields to my UX design work.

I'm a very logical person and a natural problem solver. I always begin my design process by first understanding the problem and the full customer journey, before iterating on the visuals. I'm passionate about connecting with and relating to others which comes across in my empathic design approach.  

My attention to the problem solving aspect of a design brief paired with a firm understanding of the user is what makes me stand out as a skilled UX designer, rather than strictly a visual designer.

I'm very enthusiastic about inclusivity and accessible design, largely due to my lived experience as an autistic person.

As well as acknowledging accessibility requirements for minorities, I'm also always very keen to identify and champion unique strengths that neurodivergent minds can bring to the table. For example, I attribute my outside-of-the-box thinking, pattern spotting abilities and strong attention to detail to my autistic way of thinking.
